Job Overview

One of our Client is Seeking Corporate Associate – Mergers & Acquisitions to join its Corporate Practice Group. The ideal candidate will have 3–6 years of corporate law experience , with a strong background in M&A and general corporate and commercial matters .

This is an excellent opportunity to work with public and private companies, private equity funds, and financial institutions on sophisticated corporate transactions in a collaborative and client-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with and manage mergers and acquisitions and other corporate transactions .
  • Lead legal due diligence teams and coordinate transaction specialists.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate transaction and corporate documents .
  • Advise clients on general corporate and commercial matters.
  • Collaborate with partners, clients, specialists, and opposing counsel throughout transactions.
  • Manage multiple assignments and transactions with minimal supervision.
  • Provide practical, business-oriented legal advice while maintaining strong client service.

Qualifications

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
  • 3–6 years of corporate law experience .
  • Significant experience with M&A transactions and general corporate/commercial matters .
  • Experience leading due diligence teams and managing transaction specialists.
  • Strong legal drafting, writing, analytical, and communication skills .
  • Superior academic credentials.
  • Ability to manage multiple assignments independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong teamwork, collaboration, and client-service skills.
  • Base Salary: $180,000–$315,000, depending on experience and location.
