Job Overview
One of our Client is Seeking Corporate Associate – Mergers & Acquisitions to join its Corporate Practice Group. The ideal candidate will have 3–6 years of corporate law experience , with a strong background in M&A and general corporate and commercial matters .
This is an excellent opportunity to work with public and private companies, private equity funds, and financial institutions on sophisticated corporate transactions in a collaborative and client-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with and manage mergers and acquisitions and other corporate transactions .
- Lead legal due diligence teams and coordinate transaction specialists.
- Draft, review, and negotiate transaction and corporate documents .
- Advise clients on general corporate and commercial matters.
- Collaborate with partners, clients, specialists, and opposing counsel throughout transactions.
- Manage multiple assignments and transactions with minimal supervision.
- Provide practical, business-oriented legal advice while maintaining strong client service.
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
- 3–6 years of corporate law experience .
- Significant experience with M&A transactions and general corporate/commercial matters .
- Experience leading due diligence teams and managing transaction specialists.
- Strong legal drafting, writing, analytical, and communication skills .
- Superior academic credentials.
- Ability to manage multiple assignments independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong teamwork, collaboration, and client-service skills.
- Base Salary: $180,000–$315,000, depending on experience and location.
