Private Equity Associate

I am working with a leading Private Equity firm in New York City and they are hiring for an Associate to join their Generalist team.

• Evaluate and execute private equity investment opportunities across the firm’s target sectors and investment strategies.
• Conduct detailed financial analysis, valuation, and investment underwriting to assess potential investments and develop compelling investment theses.
• Build and maintain sophisticated financial models, including operating models, LBO models, DCFs, transaction analyses, and scenario and sensitivity analyses.
• Perform comprehensive company, industry, market, and competitive research to identify key investment opportunities, risks, and value creation drivers.
• Support due diligence processes across financial, commercial, operational, legal, and market workstreams, coordinating with management teams and external advisors.
• Analyze historical and projected financial performance, business models, KPIs, capital structures, and industry dynamics.
