We are currently representing a leading lower-middle-market private equity firm in its search for an Associate to join its investment team in Houston.
The firm invests in high-quality lower-middle-market businesses, with a primary focus on Industrials and Business Services .
Responsibilities
- Evaluate new investment opportunities and support the execution of acquisitions
- Conduct financial analysis, valuation, and investment underwriting
- Build and maintain detailed financial models
- Support due diligence processes and coordinate with external advisors
- Prepare investment committee materials and transaction presentations
- Work closely with senior investment professionals throughout the investment lifecycle
Qualifications
- 2–3 years of Investment Banking experience
- Experience at a leading investment bank with strong M&A and financial modeling exposure
- Sector-agnostic investment banking backgrounds will be considered
- Strong analytical, quantitative, and communication skills
- Demonstrated interest in pursuing a career in private equity
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, high-performance environment
