Private Equity Associate

A middle-market private equity firm based in Dallas is seeking a First-Year Associate to join its investment team. The firm focuses on investments across Consumer, Industrials, and Business Services .

The Associate will support the full investment process, including evaluating new opportunities, conducting financial and industry analysis, building and reviewing financial models, supporting due diligence, and contributing to transaction execution.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate potential investment opportunities across Consumer, Industrials, and Business Services.
• Perform financial analysis, valuation, and investment underwriting.
• Build and review financial models, including LBO and transaction models.
• Conduct market, industry, and competitive analysis.
• Support due diligence and transaction execution.
• Prepare investment materials and presentations for senior investment professionals.
• Work closely with senior team members throughout the investment process.

Qualifications

• Approximately 2 years of experience in Investment Banking or Private Equity.
• Strong financial modeling, valuation, and analytical skills.
• Experience with transaction execution and due diligence.
• Strong academic background and attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively in a lean investment team.
