Private Equity Associate

We're partnered with a well-established Columbus-based PE firm adding an Associate to their investment team. They've been in the market for over 25 years, have a strong track record across multiple funds, and are known for providing flexible capital to lower middle market companies without getting in management's way post-close.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build financial models and investment return analyses
• Run investment banking style analysis on portfolio companies to assess performance and sale readiness
• Work directly with management teams on operational and strategic improvements
• Support due diligence and transaction execution on both exits and new acquisitions
• Prepare presentations and investment memorandums for the investment committee
• Source and evaluate new investment opportunities as capital is redeployed

What They're Looking For:

• 2-4 years in PE, investment banking, commercial banking, private credit, business valuation, or transaction advisory
• Strong financial modeling skills and analytical instincts
• Solid accounting and finance fundamentals
• Comfortable managing multiple workstreams at once without losing the thread
• Bachelor's in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
