I’m working with a leading private equity investment firm that is looking to hire an Associate to join their team in Chicago , with the role providing broad exposure across the firm’s investment activities and portfolio companies.
Job Brief:
- Evaluate and underwrite potential investment opportunities across a range of industries and transaction types
- Build and review detailed financial models, including LBO analysis, valuation and returns analysis
- Conduct company, industry and market research to assess new investment opportunities
- Assist with due diligence, investment committee materials and transaction execution
- Work closely with senior investment professionals throughout the investment process
- Support portfolio company monitoring and ongoing performance analysis
- Assist with add-on acquisitions, strategic initiatives and other value-creation opportunities
