I am working with a leading middle market private equity firm that is looking for a Private Equity Associate to join their investment team in Chicago , focused on Healthcare .
Responsibilities:
- Investment Evaluation & Due Diligence: Evaluate new healthcare investment opportunities, conducting market, company, financial, and competitive analysis to assess potential investments.
- Financial Modeling & Valuation: Build and maintain detailed financial models, including LBO analyses, operating forecasts, valuation analyses, and sensitivity cases.
- Investment Strategy & Thesis Development: Conduct industry and company research to develop differentiated investment theses and assess key growth and value creation opportunities.
- Transaction Execution: Support the full investment process, including due diligence, structuring, financing, investment committee materials, and transaction execution.
- Healthcare Sector Analysis: Analyze healthcare companies, market dynamics, competitive landscapes, regulatory developments, and other factors impacting investment opportunities.
