Boutique Private Equity Fund in NYC looking to hire Assistant Controller / Controller. The role reports to the CFO, will oversee all accounting and finance functions, and support growth initiatives for the firm.

$180,000.00/yr - $225,000.00/yr

Responsibilities
- Oversee and prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Manage the accounting close process
- Assist with cash flow forecasting, budgeting processes, and variance analyses to support management decisions
- Help maintain, document, and improve internal controls and accounting policies
- Support management & performance fee calculations and prepare supporting schedules
- Generate reporting for limited partners and internal stakeholders, including portfolio company performance, capital activity, and other metrics
- Assist in integrating financial systems or platform improvements, process automation, etc.
Qualifications / Experience
- Experience in private equity or investment management environments preferred
- Strong accounting background with consolidation, financial reporting, and controls
- Ability to work in a collaborative, growth-oriented team
