The mandate is specifically looking for a candidate with experience in estate planning and tax-efficient wealth transfer strategies, spanning estate and gift tax, closely held business and succession planning, and asset protection.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of demonstrated experience in sophisticated private client matters involving trusts, estates and tax-driven planning
- Transactional experience in a private client context (entity structuring, business succession, buy-sell arrangements, closely held business planning)
- Solid grounding in Florida and federal tax law as it applies to estate and gift planning
- Excellent technical, professional and client service skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Team-oriented, with an emphasis on collaboration
- Effective, proactive problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently
- Interest in building a book of business and growing toward a shareholder role
