Overview

Job Overview: A law firm seeks a Privacy and Cybersecurity Litigation Associate to join its team in New York City, NY. The successful candidate will engage in complex data privacy and security litigation, arbitrations, and regulatory investigations across various industries.

Responsibilities

• Engage in privacy, cybersecurity, and consumer protection litigation in state and federal courts, including class actions.
• Defend claims under statutes such as CCPA/CPRA, TCPA, CIPA/ECPA, CMIA, CEMA, COPPA, BIPA, and/or FCRA.
• Participate in regulatory investigations or enforcement actions.
• Contribute to security incident response efforts.
• Collaborate directly with clients and manage fast-paced matters with multiple stakeholders.

Requirements

• 2-4 years of relevant litigation experience.
• Admitted to and in good standing with the California bar.
• Superior verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Admitted to the California bar.

Skills

• Strong aptitude for technology and understanding of technological processes.
