Overview
A law firm seeks a Privacy and Cybersecurity Litigation Associate to join their team in Los Angeles, California. The successful candidate will work on complex data privacy and security issues in high-profile litigation, arbitrations, and regulatory investigations.
Duties
- Engage in privacy, cybersecurity, and consumer protection litigation in state and federal courts.
- Defend claims under statutes such as CCPA/CPRA, TCPA, CIPA/ECPA, CMIA, CEMA, COPPA, BIPA, and FCRA.
- Participate in regulatory investigations or enforcement actions.
- Respond to security incidents and manage fast-moving matters with multiple stakeholders.
- Collaborate directly with clients to address their legal needs.
Requirements
- 2-4 years of relevant litigation experience.
- Admitted to and in good standing with the California bar.
- Superior verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail.
Education
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
Certifications
- California bar admission.
