Job Overview
A law firm seeks a Privacy and Cyber Litigation Associate in West Palm Beach, FL. The ideal candidate will have 4 to 6 years of litigation experience, preferably in privacy, cyber, consumer-focused, or class action litigation, and/or federal court litigation.
Duties
Manage day-to-day case activities and lead fact investigations. Research legal issues and develop litigation strategies. Draft pleadings, including answers, motions to dismiss, and motions for summary judgment. Conduct and defend depositions. Negotiate with opposing counsel.
Requirements
Excellent academic and professional credentials. Strong analytical and communication skills. Comfortable managing client relationships. Federal clerkship experience preferred. Ability to deliver smaller projects with limited supervision. Experience with Fair Credit Reporting Act or other privacy-related statutes is a plus. Good standing in the state of residence.
Education
Juris Doctor (JD) degree required.
Certifications
Bar admission in the state of residence.
Skills
Case management and litigation strategy development. Strong legal research and drafting skills. Effective negotiation and communication abilities.
