HUD is seeking a Research Engineer to build privacy and anonymization systems for safe AI training data. You will own end-to-end pipelines to detect PII, credentials, and sensitive content, and implement transformations that preserve data utility for downstream ML workflows.
You will evaluate privacy risk, leverage rule-based, statistical, and LLM-based detection, and collaborate across teams to translate privacy requirements into safeguards. Remote-friendly with SF/Singapore overlap.
