Supporting the organization's Privacy Program, the full-time remote Privacy Analyst will manage privacy incidents, conduct HIPAA compliance activities, and assist in the development of privacy policies while collaborating closely with the Director of Corporate Compliance and Privacy.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate the intake, investigation, documentation, and resolution of privacy incidents, including conducting HIPAA breach risk assessments
- Conduct privacy assessments, audits, and monitoring activities to evaluate compliance with HIPAA Privacy Rule requirements
- Assist in the development and maintenance of privacy policies, procedures, and training initiatives, while tracking privacy incidents and corrective actions
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Health Information Management, Public Health, Nursing, Business Administration, or a related field preferred
- Three to five years of experience in healthcare privacy, HIPAA compliance, or related fields
- Experience conducting privacy investigations and breach risk assessments
- Knowledge of privacy monitoring, auditing, and compliance assessment methodologies
- Relevant privacy certifications such as CHPC, CHPS, RHIA, RHIT, or CIPP/US preferred
