Position Overview
Tyger Solutions Corporation (TSC) is seeking a Privacy Analyst to support federal privacy compliance for a federal client's systems and programs. You will help produce and maintain privacy documentation, PII inventories, data flow maps, and compliance reporting in line with the Privacy Act of 1974, the E-Government Act, OMB guidance, and agency policy.
This is an early-career role. If you already work in federal privacy, great. If you are a junior ISSO, security compliance analyst, FOIA/Privacy Act specialist, or records management analyst who wants to move into privacy, we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
- Draft and maintain federal privacy compliance documentation, including Privacy Threshold Analyses (PTAs), Privacy Impact Assessments (PIAs), and System of Records Notices (SORNs)
- Build and maintain system PII inventories and data flow maps
- Review system architectures and business processes to identify privacy risks and recommend mitigations
- Support implementation and assessment of NIST SP 800-53 Rev. 5 privacy controls (including the PT family) within the RMF process
- Assist with PII breach and incident response activities in line with OMB M-17-12 and the agency's breach response plan
- Coordinate with system owners, ISSOs, legal counsel, and program staff to validate privacy requirements
- Support audits, assessments, FISMA privacy reporting, and internal reviews
- Deliver accurate, review-ready documentation within defined timelines
Required Qualifications
- Active DoD Secret clearance
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Cybersecurity, Public Policy, Legal Studies, or a related field
- 2+ years of experience in one or more of the following: federal privacy program support; ISSO, security compliance, or RMF/A&A support; FOIA or Privacy Act program support; federal records management
- Working knowledge of the Privacy Act of 1974 and how PII is handled in federal systems
- Strong writing skills and the ability to turn technical information into clear documentation
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines and coordinate across technical, legal, and program stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications
- Hands-on experience drafting PTAs, PIAs, or SORNs
- Experience developing data maps or PII inventories
- Familiarity with OMB Circular A-130, OMB M-17-12, and Section 208 of the E-Government Act
- Experience supporting FISMA-moderate systems alongside cybersecurity and RMF teams
- CIPP/US, CIPP/G, CIPT, or CompTIA Security+ certification
- Experience with GRC tools such as eMASS, CSAM, or Xacta
