Prior Authorization Pharmacist - Remote

Title:Remote Pharmacist (Prior Authorization / Clinical Review) Pay rate: $53 an hr Location:Fully Remote (U.S.) — must hold anactive Pharmacist license in your state of residence Type:Contract to hire Start date: 10/18/26 Schedule Options (local time): Mon–Fri9:30 AM–6:00 PM,or Sun–Thu8:00 AM–4:30 PM Training:Mon–Fri8:00 AM–4:30 PM CTfor ~5 weeks (camera-on) What you’ll do Review and apply clinical criteria to completeprior authorizationdecisions per policy/procedure. Review patient profiles for interactions, sensitivities, and appropriate medication use. Communicate with patients and prescribers by phone/mail to resolve clinical questions. Enter/verify prescriptions and perform final accuracy checks as needed. Maintain quality/security standards (including controlled substances and hazardous waste processes). Work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment with competing priorities. Required Active Pharmacist licensein good standing in yourstate of residence(include license # + expiration date). High School Diploma/GED(verifiable). Ability to meetremote work requirements: High-speed internetminimum 25 Mbps download / 3 Mbps upload Dedicated private workspace (no screen visibility / conversations overheard) Smartphone required(VPN token) Camera-on participation for trainings/team meetings Reliable work history (avoid unexplained gaps / frequent short tenures) Preferred (not required) Strongretail pharmacybackground (especially Pharmacy Manager experience or 2+ years as Staff Pharmacist with the same employer) PBM / Prior Auth experience (if you have it:1+ yearin a PBM setting handling Prior Auth — not MTM) Residency/fellowship, leadership projects, or comparable initiatives New grads considered if leadership/residency/fellowship experience is strong
