The Press Operator is responsible for operating and maintaining various types of presses to produce high-quality products efficiently. A 10% shift differential is offered for this role.ResponsibilitiesSet up and operate press machines according to job specificationsMonitor production to ensure quality standards are metPerform routine maintenance on pressesTroubleshoot issues with equipment and make adjustments as neededInspect finished products for defectsFollow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environmentRequirementsHigh school diploma, GED or equivalent requiredExperience in press operation or similar manufacturing roles preferredProficiency in programming and operating press machines preferredGood mechanical aptitude and skills - troubleshooting skillsStrong mathematical skills for basic calculationsStrong work ethic safety conscious, and team playerFamiliarity with quality control processesPhysical RequirementsRegularly stand and walk for extended periods of timeRegularly work around moving machinery and heavy equipmentFrequently required to push/pullFrequently lift and/or move up to 50 poundsOccasionally required to climb or balance, stoop, kneel, or crouchRegularly use vision abilities including close, distance, color and peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
