Print Ops Tech ILocation: Pensacola, Florida (On-site)Role OverviewThe primary purpose of this role is to produce high-volume, priority copies on a deadline basis. The position involves maintaining print production equipment, performing basic bindery functions, and operating bindery equipment under supervision. This role also includes packaging and preparing print jobs for delivery.Key ResponsibilitiesProduce and deliver high-volume scheduled and on-demand print projects.Receive and analyze print production work orders to prioritize and ensure timely completion.Electronically access and run print-ready files, using appropriate materials and equipment.Perform bindery functions such as cutting, trimming, mounting, folding, collating, drilling, and binding.Ensure quality standards are met during all stages of work.Identify and correct errors, escalating recurring issues to management.Prepare, package, and deliver finished projects, obtaining proof of delivery.Maintain print operations equipment and supplies, performing routine cleaning.Assist with weekly inventories and notify leadership of re-order levels.Operate material handling equipment as needed.Required QualificationsHigh school education or equivalent.Experience operating and maintaining various bindery equipment.Basic knowledge of printing-related bindery functions.Ability to interpret printing specifications and prioritize tasks.Effective interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.Organizational, planning, and time management skills.Ability to work independently and in a team environment.Basic skill with Microsoft Suite and associated programs.Preferred QualificationsExposure to operating, troubleshooting, and maintaining a digital printer-copier press, large format printer, laminator, and various bindery and finishing equipment.Familiarity with various grades and weights of paper, vinyl, and other print materials.Ability to interpret and understand client printing specifications, requirements, and expectations.Software skills including Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe InDesign, and Adobe Acrobat Pro.Work EnvironmentThis role operates in a warehouse environment with exposure to loud machinery.
