Print OperatorThe Print Operator is responsible for operating digital printing machines in a time sensitive environment. To prepare for printing, print operators make the machine adjustments to accommodate the customer's job, load the correct paper for the client's job and monitor the results.ResponsibilitiesInitiating, loading, aligning print jobs in high tech printing machinesTrimming, shrink-wrapping, sorting, and collation of print jobsAssisting with minor maintenance and troubleshooting such as cleaning sensors, clearing jams, and cleaning rollersMonitoring print quality while print jobs are runningAlerting supervisor of any problems with print jobCompleting the job report if any problems occur during print run, including loss of paperMaintaining record and providing reports regarding the operations of the printing equipmentRequirementsHigh school diploma or GED0-2 years of print operation experienceDemonstrated knowledge of basic computer skillsMechanical aptitude and ability to run high speed printing equipmentAbility to maintain confidentialityAttention to detail requiredFrequent walking, standing, bending, and stoopingAbility to lift and maneuver up to 50 lbs.Driving required, must have valid Driver's licensePosition Details:Job Type: Full-timePay: Wages based on experienceSchedule: Monday to Friday 2:30 PM - 10:00 PM
