Print and Sign Operations Manager

Operations ManagerMarietta, GA — We're a growing digital printing and sign center looking for a hands-on Operations Manager to join our team. You'll oversee day-to-day production across digital printing, signage, design, finishing/bindery, and related technology while ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery and excellent customer service. Work closely with an experienced crew to run and maintain a variety of equipment, prioritize the production queue, and troubleshoot workflow issues. You'll also coordinate vendor relationships and manage complex projects and supply-chain needs to meet deadlines and quality standards. Experience in print or sign production, production scheduling, and basic project/vendor management preferred.ResponsibilitiesCreates and maintains a customer first, winning culture to carry out the vision and plans of the business on a day-to-day basisWorks within an orderly and organized workflow while maintaining best in class industry standardsCommunicates with employees on performance, safety requirements and enforces company procedures/policiesManages costs in order to achieve budget in the areas of materials, payroll, and other variable expensesPerforms various responsibilities related to price bids on customized orders, vendor relations and other related tasks as requiredPurchases materials, supplies and equipment, while controlling the work flow of inventory and use of equipment to support the needs of the businessFunctions in a fast paced environment, under time constraints, while meeting the objectives set by the business for revenue and profitAbility to solve problems, makes quick/accurate decisions, delegate tasks and achieve goalsPlans, organizes, schedules and directs the activities of assigned team membersCommunicates on a personal level to inspire commitment and trustIs open to ideas of others, allowing them to participate in decision-makingThis is a salaried role, Monday through FridayRequirementsMinimum of 5 years printing, graphic arts and digital design experience. Familiarity with current print and copy technology is expectedSolid production and/or manufacturing background desiredIs mature and self-confident; able to lead by exampleHas a naturally inquisitive mind and loves to engineer unique solutions for clients and The Company.
