Dynamic Architecture Leader OpportunityThe client is looking for dynamic leaders to join our Architecture practice who will bring thought leader-level knowledge and a proven record of success directing efforts in executing various aspects of architecture such as business, enterprise & solutions design. This leader will have an opportunity to work on a truly enterprise team that engages with leaders across all divisions and will be directly involved in helping enable our CIO's vision of a more agile and business outcomes focused IT organization.Some Responsibilities IncludeEngaging with our business partners to lead/assist and design End to End solutions that integrate one or many of cloud, COTS, systems integration, AI, automation, IoT, API and other multi-vendor capabilities and become their trusted advisor and co-create and design innovative solutionsStrong communication skills to engage with senior leaders at a business unit as well as functional & industry leaders within the Client's organizationEstablish strong working relationships with business and technology leaders in order to drive investment planning, portfolio planning and execution.Define the reference and implementation architectures for solutions and acceleratorsCollaborating with Platform, Solution, Application and Data Architects towards creating industry leading approaches, architecture design and solutions in a rapidly evolving development environmentBe known as an influencer and a recognized thought leader, with proven track record translating business problems into patterns that combine one or many capabilities that solve the problemActs as a trusted advisor for the business implementations to ensure architecture and design principles are upheldLeading design thinking workshops and build and test new technologiesWork across IT to drive capability-led investment planning decisionsStay current with industry technology trends and introduce best practices to our Company's ITDrive the notion of reusable architecture assets & standards such as current-state business/technology capability maps as well as future state planning roadmaps across all of IT. + Partner with architects and capability owners in the other business units to re-use the best available technologies and processes to power the businessApply risk-based decision making to complex problems and consult with relevant subject matter advisors as needed to inform the decisionPrepare and deliver executive level briefings and communicate complex topics effectively to a diverse executive audience.Required Qualifications & Skills8+ years prior experience in Enterprise, Business, Information, Systems & Application, Solution Architectures.1+ years in a management roleDemonstrated ability to partner with business stakeholders and navigate across conflicting priorities to balance critical tactical and strategic needs.Outstanding written and verbal communication skills - able to effectively communicate complex concepts in simple ways.Demonstrated ability to effectively collaborate and communicate with a variety of audiences and stakeholders including executive management, business leaders, IT peers, and colleagues worldwide.Strategic thinker, with demonstrated ability to work in a broad and top-down manner with a fair amount of ambiguity at the center.Results-orientation with the proven ability and reputation for developing plans and implementing them successfully.Demonstrated leadership in achieving shared objectives in a matrix organization, managing cross-divisional initiatives, and cross-functional teams in an extremely dynamic environment.Self-directed, self-motivated, driven leader who with little direction can fill in the gaps as to what is needed, and drive expected results.Demonstrated ability to envision the future and rally the organization / people towards a common goalTechnicalPreferred – Lab systems \ pharma \ regulated systemsSystem integration methodologies \ design - ESB, API, REST, etc.Performance \ Scale \ Availability design and troubleshootingModern security technologies for authentication \ authorization and securing dataWeb-based systems architecture, service-based architecture including microservices, enterprise application architecture as well as experience managing expectations when balancing alternatives against business and financial constraints;Current agile methodologies, specifically Scrum;Web technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap framework, AngularJS, Spring, Nodejs, jQuery;Data architecture, data modeling and data management across relational, columnar and noSQL technologies like SQL, Oracle, MongoDB,Big data technologies like Hadoop (Hortonworks, Cloudera) Spark, Kafka, Elasticsearch and othersService design, creation and orchestration using ESBs like Mulesoft, Talend;
