We are seeking a Principal UX Designer to shape the future of industrial technology. In this role, you'll design intuitive digital experiences that bridge advanced technology with human needs, enabling customers to work effectively in technology‑enhanced environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Work in a highly ambiguous environment to define UX in a first‑to‑market product
- Set vision and execute on building intuitive interfaces and experiences for industrial technology applications
- Create user flows and interaction patterns that simplify complex operations for customers
- Develop and maintain scalable design systems
- Partner with a User Researcher or lead user research initiatives with operators and field personnel
- Build and test prototypes for various use cases
- Collaborate with engineering, operations, and safety teams
- Ensure consistency across multiple services and interfaces
- Document and communicate design decisions effectively
Basic Qualifications
- Experience in usability testing
- Experience designing and prototyping with tools such as Figma, Adobe Creative Cloud, or similar
- 13+ years of UX designer or interaction designer experience
- Strong portfolio demonstrating complex system design
- Proven track record of shipping production‑ready designs
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in managing UX Design and rapid prototyping efforts
- Experience guiding, training and mentoring others
- Experience designing for industrial or technical environments
- Knowledge of human factors and ergonomics
- Background in safety‑critical or mission‑critical system design
- Experience designing for operations or manufacturing settings
- Strong understanding of data visualization and complex systems
- Bachelor's degree in Design, HCI, or related field
