Principal Test Technician (I5)Responsibilities:Construct, troubleshoot and test prototype assembliesSet up, configure and test hardware and software productsPerform specified test cases and clearly document resultsConduct functional testing and analysis of newly developed products to ensure operation and reliabilityAssemble and disassemble test configurationsEssential Requirements:4+ years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and work experienceExperience with server hardware, server Operating Systems (Windows Server, Red Hat, SUSE, etc.) and technologiesPrior validation experience, including issue discovery, logging, verification and analysisTroubleshooting and debugging skillsEffective communication and interpersonal skillsDesirable Requirements:Familiarity with hardware and solutionsExperience with automated test softwareKnowledge of factory processes, especially as they relate to diagnostics and software installation
