Your contributions will directly impact the success of mission-critical defense systems, and you'll have a hands-on role in ensuring the entire system functions seamlessly.What You Will Do:Develop requirements and algorithms, concepts of operations, and define system interfaces.Develop and implement test plans, procedures, integration, and verification documentation in both simulated and real-world environments.Identify and resolve hardware, software, and system issues through detailed data analysis and debugging.Collaborate across functions to drive performance improvements and resolve system issues.Develop and execute models to predict system performance and support verification and validation.Integrate hardware and software into tactical systems, evaluating their functionality and impact.Work with and lead a multi-disciplinary team to achieve seamless integration and system functionality.Develop integration documentation, execute plans, analyze data, verify requirements and effectively communicate results to leadership and stakeholders.Conduct statistical and numerical analysis of radar performance data to ensure optimal system performance and verify requirements.Present technical findings and solutions to leadership and customers.Travel as needed (up to 20%) to support mission execution at various locations including local RTX facilities, test sites, vendor facilities, and customer locations.This role is primarily based on site in Tewksbury MA.
Woburn MA could also be possible depending on Program needs.Qualifications You Must Have:Typically requires a Bachelor's in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 8 years of prior engineering experience.Experience with systems software, systems hardware, systems requirements, systems integration, and/or systems test.Qualifications We Prefer:Experience with DOORS, Rhapsody, Cameo, or other digital engineering tools.Experience with model-based engineering.Experience in developing and managing requirements.Experience developing both scripts and functions with MATLAB.Experience with C++, Python, or similarExperience with generating technical documentation, such as test plans, procedures, or technical reports.Experience working in an integration lab, test facility, or in the field, supporting integration and/or verification.Experience with evaluating systems using simulated environments.Experience interfacing with internal and external customers.What We Offer:Our values drive our actions, behaviors, and performance with a vision for a safer, more connected world. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
