Responsibilities

Meet program and schedule commitments for Component Integrated Product Team

PHM system and sub-system hardware and software requirement decomposition, validation, and verification

Development and advancement of algorithms to enable Condition Based Maintenance

Working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful integration of DPHM solutions

Mentoring early career engineers in the area of systems engineering

Required

Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM)

8 years of engineering experience, or an Advanced Degree and 5 years' experience

The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required

U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance

Preferred

Knowledge of and exposure to aerospace control and diagnostic systems

Experience in gas turbine engine subsystems and their architecture, performance, and analysis

Proficiency in requirements management tools such as DOORs

Proficiency in MBSE methodology and tools such as CAMEO

Experience in coordinating with multiple organizations and operating in cross-functional IPTs

Knowledge of relevant military and industry standards and regulations

Experience with Agile methodologies and tools such as JIRA

Basic familiarity with Failure Modes, Effects, and Criticality Analysis (FMECA)

Knowledge of sensor technologies and their applications

Skills in using statistical methods to analyze data and predict outcomes and probabilities

Strong ability to effectively communicate, lead, influence and coordinate across teams in strategic projects and initiatives

Familiarity with modern data analysis, signal processing and AI/ML

Experience in programing tools/languages such as MATLAB, Python, C, and Simulink
