Our team solves tough, meaningful problems that create a safer, more secure world.Raytheon's Advanced Airborne Radio Frequency department has an immediate opening for a Principal Systems Engineer who is committed and passionate about creating innovative and cost-effective Electronic Warfare solutions to support the Electronic Warfare business area relating to Electronic Support (ES) and Electronic Attack (EA) capability development.What You Will DoSupport firmware development and integration for Electronic Systems (ES) and Electronic Assemblies (EA) performanceLead government Electronic Warfare performance testingServe as the primary point of contact for all firmware development and debugging activities for Electronic Assemblies (EA)Determine what the requirements should be for a product or system based on information from the customer and provide traceability for these requirementsCapture requirements in specific documents such as specifications and interface control documentsQualifications You Must HaveTypically requires a Bachelor's in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM preferred) and a minimum of 8 years of Electronic Warfare, Radar systems design and Requirements engineering experienceActive and transferable U.S. government issued Secret security clearance is required prior to start date.

U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.Qualifications We PreferActive DoD Top Secret clearance with investigation within five yearsModel Based Systems Engineering (Cameo Enterprise Architecture (SysML specifically), digital thread concepts, digital engineering, MBSE with DevSecOps)Collaboration with cross-functional teams to gather necessary information and data for reports and presentationsModeling and Simulation, agile DevSecOps delivery pipelines, software development principals, Digital Thread concepts and realization in the development lifecycleMatlab/Simulink, DOORS, DNG, Cameo, Jira, and Confluence.Earned Value Management / Cost Account Management experienceWhat We OfferOur values drive our actions, behaviors, and performance with a vision for a safer, more connected world. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
