Principal Systems Engineer #628

The Sergeant at Arms is seeking a Principal Systems Engineer to join our Enterprise Systems department. In this role, you will plan, analyze, test, install, troubleshoot, and maintain the integrity of a communications and collaboration enterprise environment. Work involves engineering and escalation support for existing communications systems and services within the campus and wide-area network. The position is also responsible for providing escalation support for the Integrated Operations Center (IOC) for troubleshooting telephony, fax, voice, voice mail, and call statistics.

The successful applicant must be able to work independently and be an effective team member. The position requires solid analytical and technical skills and the ability to learn new technologies quickly. The ability to manage multiple tasks and projects is a must, and effective verbal and written communications are necessary.
