Your Role
In this role, you will help define and architect advanced digital signalprocessing and communicationsystem solutions that drive nextgeneration ASIC-based optical transceivers. You will translate complexsystem levelrequirements into robust architectures, models, and validation strategies, ensuring seamless execution from concept to silicon.
Your work will span architectural definition, algorithm modeling, simulation, lab validation, and crossfunctional collaboration—playing a key role in shaping the performance and capabilities of ourhigh-speedoptical products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design specifications, architecture, and micro-architecture for advanced signal processing and communication algorithms.
- Define and document chip-level requirements, architecture, verification strategies, and lab test plans.
- Perform bit-accuratemodellingand simulation using MATLAB/Simulink and C/C++.
- Build and execute system-level transceiver simulation suites, including vector matching verification against RTL simulations.
- Conduct ASIC lab testing, debugging, and performance validation.
- Prepare technical documentation, application notes, and provide customer support.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree/Ph.D.with 12+yearsof experience.
- Strong foundationin Communication Theory and Digital Signal Processing algorithms.
- Proficiencyin MATLAB/Simulink, C/C++, Python, Unix, and Linux environments.
- Familiarity withanalogcircuitbehaviour, transmission line theory, and s-parameters.
PreferredQualifications (if any)
- Prior experience architecting communication systems for high-performance ASIC-based products is highly valued.
- Hands-on lab skills are considered a strong advantage.
