Principal Solutions ArchitectInterview: Video Visa: USC, GC, GC EAD, H4, L2 This is hybrid from day-1 (Local candidates highly preferred)About the job:As Principal Solutions Architect in Atlanta, you will lead technology transformation and AI initiatives across core vehicle processes, modernizing titles, releases, service payments, sales, approvals, documentation, and reporting.Responsibilities:Collaborate with product and engineering teams to design solutions that address business needsFacilitate collaborative design discussions and lead design reviewsPartner with product teams to envision future features and help plan development sequencesServe as a technical subject matter expert for the engineering teamAssist in developing architecture standardsSupport the improvement of architectural practicesHelp govern software development to ensure non-functional requirements are metChampion investments in technology and architecture, advocating for project prioritiesIdentify opportunities for application optimization and simplificationLead the architectural design and integration of AI capabilities into enterprise systems, ensuring alignment with business goals and technical feasibilityCollaborate with product and engineering teams to identify high-impact AI use cases and develop scalable solutionsAssist in planning the IT Husbandry Roadmap for the yearEvaluate emerging AI technologies for workload applicability and assess off-the-shelf solutions to address current engineering and product challengesWork closely with Security, Data Governance, and AI Governance teams to ensure AI implementations meet ethical, regulatory, and operational standardsBring reusable patterns, frameworks, and lessons learned from other teams to accelerate AI adoption and reduce duplicationServe as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure solutions are both innovative and practicalLead proofs-of-concept and reference implementations to validate approachesDefine standards for API discoverability, extensibility, and versioning to support evolving AI capabilitiesEnsure APIs are designed with security, scalability, and interoperability in mindProvide architectural guidance and mentorship to engineering teams on AI technologies and patternsContribute to internal documentation, training, and enablement resources to build organizational AI fluencyQualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related discipline plus 10+ years of experience in software development for mid-sized to large companies.Engages with emerging AI technologies daily (e.g., LLMs, autonomous agents, vector databases).Has designed and deployed complex cloud architecture applications via AWS (preferred), GCP, or Azure.Has applied enterprise architecture patterns to design and deploy distributed systems (e.g., Restful APIs, Event-Driven Microservices, Micro Frontends, BFFs, Serverless architectures).Over 5 years of hands-on experience as a solution or technical architect, advocating for technical solutions and influencing others.Experience with React front-end development, J2EE back-ends, and Node.js/TypeScript applications.Familiarity with Snowflake and Jaspersoft is preferred.Experience with on-premise applications and Tibco SOA is a plus.Experience with replatforming applications from legacy languages (e.g., Ruby on Rails to Java/TypeScript/Python).Experience with Credit Card Payment Gateways.Familiarity with ActiveMQ is preferred.Experience with RPG AS400 iSeries is a plus.Strong ability to produce high-quality blog posts and technical documentation.Able to serve as a technology mentor and facilitate colleagues' growth.Skilled at managing conflicts and maintaining productive relationships.Industry experience in automotive or willingness to become an industry expert.
