You'll anticipate problems that need new solutions, lead the conversion of existing systems to AI-native, and drive decisions that span business units. You bring deep software engineering craft alongside strong applied AI experience. Intuit is a global technology platform that helps consumers and small businesses overcome their most important financial challenges.ResponsibilitiesAnticipate challenges that need fundamentally new solutions and shape Intuit's long-term technical directionDesign scalable, resilient, and adaptive systems that unlock innovation, velocity, and valueRecognize where AI applies within complex systems and lead the conversion of existing systems to AI-native architecturesMake tradeoffs across AI techniques and algorithm choices to ship reliable, production-grade softwareIdentify, champion, and integrate industry-leading or new technologies that create competitive advantageSet engineering standards for quality, security, and maintainability that others adoptAlign stakeholders across teams and business units; drive execution and unblock deliveryCoach technical leaders; advise senior leadership on team structure and engineering practicesQualifications12+ years developing systems and software for large scale business environments8+ years designing complex distributed systems, platforms, or business applicationsHands-on experience integrating AI into production software, ideally driving AI projects standalone with commoditized AI tools and agentic workflows.Experience modernizing systems toward AI-native patterns; experience driving AI architectural decisions across multiple teams a plusFull-stack experience with modern AI/ML platforms (Vertex AI, SageMaker, Bedrock), LLM APIs, agent orchestration frameworks, vector databases, and Python.Depth in at least one of:Front-end: React, Angular, SwiftUI (iOS), Kotlin (Android)Back-end: Java, TypeScript, Spring, Node.jsProduction experience in AWS or GCPBS/MS in Computer Science or related field; advanced degree preferredTrack record of influencing technical strategy across business units and aligning executivesStrong mentor; able to develop technical leaders and shape engineering cultureExcellent communicator; makes decisive technical calls in ambiguityDrives results across cross-functional, globally distributed teamsIntuit provides a competitive compensation package with a strong pay for performance rewards approach.

This position will be eligible for a cash bonus, equity rewards and benefits, in accordance with our applicable plans and programs. Pay offered is based on factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and work location. To drive ongoing fair pay for employees, Intuit conducts regular comparisons across categories of ethnicity and gender.The expected base pay range for this position is: Mountain View $261,500 - $353,500
