Principal Reverse Engineer

GliaCell Technologies, LLC is seeking a Principal Reverse Engineer to support a full‑time U.S. Government contract. The role focuses on reverse engineering malicious binaries and providing actionable intelligence to protect mission‑critical software.

Responsibilities

• Perform technical analysis of malicious binaries through controlled execution and/or static analysis of assembly code, overcoming techniques designed to defeat analysis.
• Determine functionality, capability, callback mechanisms, and contribute to attribution to adversary infrastructure.
• Identify indicators of compromise and provide documentation that enables malware detection, signature creation, and mitigation.

Qualifications

• Active or reinstatable TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance.
• U.S. citizenship.
• 11+ years of experience and a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Required certifications: CISSP, GIAC, GREM, or CREA.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team.

Location

Maryland (full‑time onsite, with remote work options).

Compensation

Salary range: $115,000 to $190,000, based on experience and qualifications. Additional bonus opportunities and a comprehensive benefits package are available.
