Purpose Of The Position
Provide Windchill system administration support to the Army and the UAH RENEGADE Team.
Duties / Responsibilities
- Provide Windchill system administration support to the Army and the UAH RENEGADE Team.
- Provide security and compliance management to the Windchill system team.
- Mentor more junior level staff regarding system admin and STIG compliance.
Minimum Requirements
- Ph.D. or professional equivalent with 18 - 21 months (1.5 - 1.75 years) of full-time work experience.
- 3.5+ years experience with Windchill PDMLink (v11.x–13.x) installation, configuration, and upgrades.
- Specialized experience managing Apache HTTP Server on Windows.
- Proficiency in MS SQL Server administration, including maintenance, performance tuning, and SQL scripting.
- Experience integrating Windchill with LDAP (OpenLDAP, OUD, etc.) and tuning Java/JVM Method Server settings.
- Direct experience applying DISA STIGs to Windows Server, Apache, MS SQL Server, and Windchill application layers.
- Proficiency using SCAP Compliance Checker and STIG Viewer for vulnerability remediation.
- Candidates must possess a current Security+ certification or be able to obtain one within 90 days of employment to meet DoD 8570/8140 requirements.
Desired Qualifications
- Ph.D. or professional equivalent with 18 - 21 months (1.5 - 1.75 years) of full-time work experience.
- Experience with Shibboleth, SAML, or Federated Identity solutions.
- Scripting expertise in PowerShell for log management and automated system health checks.
- Experience working in a Classified DoD environment.
- Windchill Business Administration experience (policy management, account management, etc.).
