About the Role
The Principal Recruiter will support AngelList’s expanding business and strategic hiring goals. The right person will be a creative and adaptable generalist, capable of earning trust and delivering successful hires for key roles across the company. Instead of focusing on a single domain, this role will operate function-agnostic and partner with executive team members to bring the best people into key roles.
You will:
- Partner with hiring teams to build and execute strategies to bring the best people into key roles at AngelList
- Lead with data and market intelligence to help drive decisions
- Contribute broadly, demonstrating functional agility and strong business partnership
- Represent and elevate the AngelList talent brand on the market, showcasing who we attract
You have:
- 8+ years of full lifecycle recruiting experience, including startup experience
- Ability to thrive and drive consensus in ambiguous, fast-moving environments
- Approach that leads with business outcomes over activity
- Curiosity to leverage AI tools to automate workflows and improve hiring speed and quality
- Proven track record of success competing for elite talent and strong industry relationships
- Ability to drive process and influence cross-functionally to advance objectives
- Enthusiasm about growth, change, action, and refinement
Location & Remote Policy
AngelList has offices in New York City and San Francisco. The hybrid in-office model requires teammates to be in office at least 2 days per week (Tuesdays and either Wednesday or Thursday).
Compensation & Benefits
Compensation: Competitive base salary, benefits, and equity package. Base salary for this role is $200,000+ annually, varying based on background, experience, and location. Full details about the Total Rewards package will be provided during the recruitment process.
