Sr./Principal Recruiter – 360 Desk | Houston, TX (Hybrid)

Now Hiring for a growing staffing firm opening its Houston office (2-3 hires) to build the contract/staffing side of the business from the ground up.

If you're currently running a true 360 desk (BD + delivery, not just one or the other) and you're ready to trade a mature book for real ownership, this is worth a conversation.

Here's the setup:

This firm has been in business since 2021, with perm desks in NY and LA already doing $800K-$1M annually. Houston is next; and you'd be walking in early, building out the contract/temp/staffing vertical alongside the owners, not inheriting someone else's desk.

Specialty verticals: Power/Energy (oil & gas, environmental services), Tech, Engineering, Data Centers, Supply Chain.

What you need to bring:

Currently or recently running a full 360 desk at the Sr./Principal level

Staffing/contract placement experience (strongly preferred = this is a build)

Comfortable in build-phase chaos, not a plug-and-play desk

Nice to have (not dealbreakers):

• Large Agency training
• An existing book/relationships in Energy, Power, Data Centers, or Supply Chain
• Experience standing up a new office, market, or vertical

The comp:

Base: $60K-$105K, depending on experience and track record

No draw, no threshold & commission from dollar one

Quarterly bands, paid monthly:

Plus a 6% manager override once you've got direct reports.

And an end-of-year bonus that tops up your total comp rate as you scale:

• $400K-$500K GP annually → TCR boosted to 40%
• $500K-$700K GP annually → TCR boosted to 45%
• $700K+ GP annually → TCR boosted to 50%

Fully loaded tech stack, all company-paid: Bullhorn, LinkedIn Recruiter, Lusha, ZoomInfo, SourceWhale, and Claude.

This is a ground-floor opportunity with direct access to ownership and long-term upside.
