What You’ll Do

• Lead and supervise design and technical staff, providing mentorship and guidance
• Manage construction documents, contracts, schedules, budgets, and fee proposals
• Oversee client and public-agency interactions, ensuring strong relationships and effective communication
• Direct conceptual and preliminary engineering design studies, addressing zoning, site constraints, and regulatory requirements
• Review constructability and provide construction support and field coordination
• Ensure compliance with jurisdictional codes, standards, and procedures

What We’re Looking For

• Strong leadership, supervisory, and project management skills
• Ability to make independent, sound engineering and business decisions
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and client-facing abilities
• Working knowledge of regulatory processes, standards, and jurisdictional requirements in California
• Ability to balance technical expertise with business and management principles, including resource allocation, team coordination, and strategic planning
