Financial Earned Value AnalystThe Air Dominance Business Office within the Air & Space Defense Systems (ASDS) is seeking an experienced financial Earned Value (EV) Analyst to lead financial execution and earned value management for the AMRAAM D4/C9 Engineering & Manufacturing Development (EMD) Contract, an effort supporting modernization and redesign of critical AMRAAM subsystems. This contract requires Contractual EV Management and will be implemented using the SAP APEX EVMS/PMX tool suite. This Finance EV lead will serve as a critical business partner by providing the analysis, insight and guidance to enable strategic decision making and achieve bottom-line results.This is a high visibility portfolio with significant complexities that provides you with the opportunity to influence decisions with direct P&L implications. The ideal candidate will be able to partner with program leadership and cross functional partners (PMO, supply chain, contracts, engineering, security, USG, etc.) to drive execution and influence change.
You would be a critical business partner in providing insight and analysis to strategic decisions to achieve bottom-line results. Our partners are all on-site which promotes transparency and open communication. This candidate should also be familiar with or excited to gain experience in the financial lifecycle from cradle to grave (proposal, negotiation, contract setup, baselining, execution, contract close-out). We are looking for someone who has a love for spreading knowledge and influencing process improvements.***This position is a hybrid role based in Tucson, AZ and requires regular on?site presence.
Relocation assistance is available for qualified candidates.***What You Will DoThe individual chosen for this position will lead and coordinate a cross functional team regarding contractual EVMS submissions, develop, present and defend monthly Latest Revised Estimates (LRE), baseline and incorporate regular scope expansion tasking, and support related financial forecasting for the portfolio.Analyzing EV metrics including weekly/monthly costs incurred and provide associated leading indicator guidance to Program and Business management, external stakeholders and the customer community.Effective and influential communication across all levels of the business (Functional Organizations, SBU's, Program Management, and Government counterparts) is required. A strong desire to foster relationships that improve execution implementation is critical.Partnering successfully and driving influence with program IPL and strategic partners regarding all aspects of program execution and strategy.Qualifications You Must HaveTypically requires a Bachelor's and a minimum of 5 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and a minimum of 3 years experienceExperience in EVMS, Program Controls, or integrated cost/schedule managementExperience with MS OfficeThe ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required.
