As a Principal Process Engineer, you minimize process variations and excursions in product manufacturing processes to maximize wafer yield.
Responsibilities Included But Not Limited To
- Perform data analysis using SPC, real‑time monitoring methods, and additional sources to monitor and maintain the performance of the process.
- Collaborate cross‑functionally with other teams for new technology transfer, process development, and problem‑solving activities.
- Commit flexible personal time, including handling abnormal events, meeting with TSMC in the Asia time zone, and other business requirements.
Job Qualifications
- BS or higher in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Electrical Engineering, Physics, or Material Science.
- At least 5 + years of etch process experience working in a high‑volume manufacturing semiconductor fab.
- Understanding of etch process principles; equipment knowledge and integration knowledge are a plus (Preferred).
- Strong data analysis capability, including commonality checks and DOE (Preferred).
- Multi‑tasking and project‑management skills to balance and follow through with many tasks at once while meeting deadlines and executing plans (Preferred).
- Work with Manufacturing, Equipment, and other function teams to achieve quality and capacity goals (Preferred).

Work Location & Schedule
This position operates on‑site at our Camas, Washington location during core business hours, Monday through Friday 8 am – 5 pm; however, additional hours may be necessary to meet project demands.
Total Rewards
Pay Transparency & Other Compensation: For new hires, the starting salary typically ranges between $108,235 and $156,729 per year. The full salary range for this job grade extends from $108,235 to $172,895 depending on skills, qualifications, education, experience, tenure, and position level. The total compensation package also includes market‑competitive pay, profit sharing and incentive bonuses, and tuition assistance.
- This position is also eligible for a Sign‑On Bonus depending on various factors.
- This position is also eligible for a Relocation Bonus depending on various factors.
