Principal Power Electrical Engineer

Senior Power EngineerWe are seeking a professional Senior Power Engineer to assume a key role within the System Power, Analog and Controls Department. Do you enjoy power converter design? If your answers are yes, we are looking for you to join our team!What You Will DoDesign, analyze (including thermal considerations), simulate, and test power conversion circuitry potentially utilizing any standard non-isolated power conversion topologies (buck, boost, buck-boost) including modules and discrete designs.Guide Electronic Computer-Aided Design (ECAD) personnel through PWB layout of power circuitry and technical drawing creation.Perform design work within the bounds of a given schedule.Present reviews of technical data to program leadership and technical staff.Qualifications You Must HaveTypically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experienceMinimum of 8 years of professional experience in design, analysis, simulation, and/or test experience with linear converters.Experience with any of the following non-isolated converter topologies: buck, boost, buck-boost.Experience with design, analysis, and test with analog electronic design and analysis, including FET, BJT, and/or Op-amp circuits.What We OfferOur values drive our actions, behaviors, and performance with a vision for a safer, more connected world.

The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
