- Lead management of user accounts and permissions, including onboarding and offboarding processes to EIM/AD groups
- Drive alignment and standardization across unclassified and Information Systems Jira projects
- Implement and maintain synchronization automation for configurations and issues
- Oversee and perform advanced system maintenance for performance, scalability, and reliability
- Provide senior-level user support, resolve advanced issues, and develop strategic training initiatives
- Architect, implement, and optimize workflows, permissions, and project structures
- Lead system upgrade initiatives, including planning, testing, and execution
- Manage and optimize integrations with Confluence, GitLab, and other DevOps platforms
- Implement advanced customizations and enhancements using plugins such as Structure, Project Configurator, ScriptRunner, and JSU Automation
- Design and maintain dashboards, reports, and queries for complex reporting requirements
- Develop and maintain high-level documentation, processes, and user guides
- Monitor system performance, identify trends, and implement preventative measures
- Design, develop, and refine scripts to automate processes and enhance functionality
- Lead refactoring efforts to align implementations with best practices and improve system efficiency
- Collaborate with Radar Digital Product Line programs and Platform Engineering in a shared Jira server environment
Requirements
- Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience unless prohibited by local laws/regulations
- Experience as a Jira Administrator, including configuring workflows, permissions, and issue types
- Experience with Jira automation features and scripting languages such as Groovy or JavaScript
- Experience with Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) processes, particularly scripting and automation
- Experience with Jira dashboards, reporting tools, and plugins like Structure
- Enterprise-level experience with configuration management tools such as Git and GitLab
- Experience with Agile and Scrum principles supporting and optimizing Jira workflows and team processes for large-scale projects
- Active and transferable U.S. government-issued Interim Secret security clearance required prior to start date
- U.S. citizenship required
- Advanced analytical skills for complex Jira configuration or integration challenges
- Understanding and experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Jenkins or GitLab CI/CD
- Experience managing multiple Jira instances across large and complex organizational environments
- Expertise in project management principles
- Advanced knowledge of Agile/Scrum principles
- Ability to create and manage complex custom scripts and automation rules
- Experience integrating Jira with Confluence, Bitbucket, Jenkins, GitLab or other DevOps tools
- Proficiency using APIs for custom integrations
