Principal Mobile Engineer

We are seeking a Principal Mobile Engineer to lead the architecture and development of modern, AI-enabled mobile applications. This is a hands-on technical leadership role (~50% coding) focused primarily on iOS, with working Android knowledge.

Required:

• Principal/Staff-level mobile engineering experience with 10+ years of mobile development and strong recent hands-on iOS experience
• Expert Swift, SwiftUI, UIKit, Combine ; working knowledge of Android/Kotlin
• Datadog, Adobe Analytics, and Azure DevOps — mandatory
• Strong ownership of mobile architecture, system design, scalability, performance, security, and engineering standards
• Experience with CI/CD, Git, Fastlane, Firebase, automated testing/TDD , and App Store/Google Play releases
• REST APIs, OAuth2, cloud-connected mobile architecture (Azure/AWS) , mobile analytics, crash monitoring, and production observability
• Knowledge of WCAG/ARIA and accessible mobile development
• Experience partnering with Product, Design, Backend, QA, Data, and AI teams , influencing roadmaps, and communicating technical decisions to senior stakeholders
• Familiarity with AI/ML capabilities and AI-assisted development workflows

Preferred:

• Fintech, payments, banking, or consumer-facing mobile experience
• Identity verification, push notifications, or mobile payment platforms
• Open-source contributions or technical publications

A hands-on technical leader who can own mobile architecture and strategy while remaining deeply involved in production engineering.
