Principal – Building Envelope | Miami - Fort Lauderdale
A leading architecture, engineering, and construction consulting firm is seeking a Principal, Building Envelope to provide executive leadership within its growing Building Envelope practice in the Miami - Fort Lauderdale market.
This leadership role combines technical expertise with business development, overseeing complex building enclosure projects while strengthening client relationships and mentoring technical teams.
Responsibilities
- Lead business development and practice growth.
- Manage executive-level client relationships.
- Oversee projects involving façades, roofing, waterproofing, fenestration, rehabilitation and forensic investigations.
- Provide technical leadership, mentor staff and ensure quality project delivery.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Building Science or a related field.
- 10-15 years of building envelope consulting experience.
- PE or RA license required.
- Proven experience leading complex projects, managing client relationships and growing a consulting practice.
- Strong knowledge of building enclosure systems, building codes and industry standards.
Compensation
- $190,000–$250,000 base salary
