Kamm Consulting is a growing MEP engineering consulting firm headquartered in Deerfield Beach, FL, with a branch office in Fort Pierce. With nearly 50 professionals and a diverse project portfolio across Florida and beyond, we deliver mechanical, electrical, and plumbing engineering solutions for commercial, institutional, and mixed‑use projects. We are expanding our electrical team and looking for the right person to grow with us.

The Opportunity

We are seeking a Licensed PE Electrical Engineerwith 6 - 15 years of MEP consulting experience to join our Deerfield Beach team. This is a hands‑on project leadership role with clear potential to grow into department leadership. You will own projects from schematic design through construction administration, provide technical direction to the electrical team, and serve as a primary point of contact for clients and design partners.

What You'll Do

  • Lead electrical design and production of construction documents using Revit/BIM workflows
  • Perform engineering calculations, equipment selection, and system sizing across a range of building types
  • Sign and seal construction drawings as the Engineer of Record
  • Manage project scope, schedule, and budget with accountability to both clients and internal leadership
  • Coordinate across MEP disciplines and with architectural and structural teams throughout the design process
  • Support construction administration including site visits, RFI and submittal review, and punch list
  • Mentor and provide technical direction to junior and mid-level electrical staff
  • Contribute to internal QC processes and maintain working knowledge of applicable codes (FBC, NEC, NFPA)

What We're Looking For

  • Active Professional Engineering License in Florida
  • 6 – 15+ years of experience in MEP consulting or building systems design
  • Demonstrated experience as Engineer of Record with sign and seal responsibility
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit
  • Familiarity with commercial, multifamily residential, institutional, or mixed‑use project types
  • Strong communication and coordination skills in a multi‑discipline environment
  • Interest in team leadership and department-level ownership over time
