Principal Internal AuditorThe Principal Internal Auditor plays a crucial role in the company performing and assisting in the planning and execution of non-gaming operational audits. This individual will regularly interact with staff and management across a wide array of different departments to observe and digest processes, and recommend opportunities for improvement. The position reports directly to the Director of Casino Finance with a dotted line to the Board of Directors.

Adheres to all Company, Safety and Department policies and procedures. Fosters team work and provides excellent guest service, anticipates guest needs to exceed guest expectations. Builds brand loyalty by living the JW Marriott Core Values.Qualifications include:Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related fieldTwo or more years Internal Audit experienceProfessional level report writing skillsProfessional skepticism and the ability to maintain independence, while cultivating a positive relationship with property managementAttention to detail and the ability to analyze data and identify trends or outliersEffective communication skillsIntermediate skill level in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPointRequired: Working knowledge of IPPF / Global Internal Audit StandardsNevada Gaming LicenseKey responsibilities include:Performance of non-gaming operational audits of business processesAssist in examining and evaluating the adequacy and effectiveness of controlsIdentify and document business processes and controls in accordance with established department standardsAssist in presenting verbal and written results of audit activities to various levels of management and the Board of DirectorsContribute to and maintain a strong relationship with property management and staffThe above statements represent a general outline of principal job functions and should not be construed as a complete description of all aspects and requirements required for this job.
