To tackle complex infrastructure challenges, the full-time remote Principal Infrastructure Engineer will design, build, and scale the platform, focusing on increasing throughput, reducing latency, and enhancing resilience while participating in on-call rotations for incident recovery. Key responsibilities: Own the technical architecture and evolution of core infrastructure to support increasing traffic and workload complexity Engineer for scale and performance by diagnosing bottlenecks and validating improvements across compute, networking, and databases Build and operate AWS infrastructure and Kubernetes platform, ensuring reliability and cost efficiency through technical changes Required qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a similar technical field 12+ years of experience in infrastructure, platform, site reliability, or related engineering disciplines Deep expertise with AWS, Kubernetes, and relational databases at scale, specifically RDS/Aurora (MySQL and Postgres) Strong coding and automation skills using Golang, Python, or similar languages, alongside infrastructure-as-code experience Experience operating a 24/7 high-availability platform, including hands-on incident response and disaster recovery implementation
