Principal Incident Response Consultant

Guiding complex investigations, the full-time Principal Incident Response Consultant will serve as the technical lead for the Security Operations Center, directing major incident response activities and coordinating with cross-functional teams in a remote role. Key responsibilities Direct major incident response activities and make critical severity and escalation decisions Lead incident investigations from triage through containment, remediation, and root cause analysis while mentoring junior analysts Identify operational gaps and provide recommendations to enhance security operations and incident response capabilities Required qualifications 7+ years of experience in incident response or security operations, with a focus on leading complex investigations Experience with SIEM, EDR, and security case management tools Strong expertise in incident triage, escalation, and response coordination Proven leadership skills with the ability to make technical decisions during live incidents Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
