Principal, For-Profit Audit

Sikich is growing its Milwaukee-area audit practice and is looking for a Principal, For-Profit Audit to help lead that growth.

This is an opportunity for an experienced public accounting leader who enjoys building client relationships, developing teams, and helping grow a practice. The role combines technical audit leadership with business development and offers the chance to make a significant impact in an expanding market.

What You'll Be Doing

• Lead and oversee audit engagements for privately held and for-profit clients
• Serve as a trusted advisor to business owners and executive leadership teams
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities
• Mentor and develop audit professionals
• Collaborate with firm leadership on growth initiatives throughout the Milwaukee market
• Help expand Sikich's presence and reputation in the region

What We're Looking For

• Active CPA
• 15+ years of public accounting experience with a focus on for-profit audit
• Strong client relationship and business development skills
• Experience leading teams and developing talent
• Track record of growing revenue, managing engagements, and serving as a trusted client advisor
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a desire to help build something

Compensation

Compensation is highly competitive and will be tailored to the individual's experience, leadership background, and business development success.

• Base Salary: Generally ranging from $200,000 to $350,000+
• Performance-based bonus opportunities
• Additional incentives tied to business development and practice growth
