This is a full-time position offering the opportunity to support a U.S. Government customer. The mission is to provide technical expertise that assists in sustaining critical mission-related software and systems to a large government contract.You will act as a full stack developer for the Section 7 DAT team in a fast-paced role improving the mission process for the customer.The organization is focused on discovery of opportunities and enabling activities in numerous technical fields.You will be responsible for designing and delivering custom applications, providing data visualization, workflow automation, and mission cognizance for mission critical activities.You will work closely with the mission customer, collect requirements, feedback and provide support as needed on a wide variety of tasks.This team provides software development in a customer service like role where requirements can change rapidly based on customer current needs.Responsibilities:Develop scripts and analytics to provide novel insights into unique questions.Find and aggregate data from disparate sources and integrate into new and existing tools.Develop new UIs and visualizations to provide customers with better understanding of their data.Elicit requirements and feedback directly from end-users and other stakeholders.Collaborate with other DATs and QC teams to share expertise and elevate all teams.Key Requirements:To be considered for this position you must have the following:Possess an active or rein-statable TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance.U.S. Citizenship.Professional/Education experience: 12 years & Bachelors of Science Degree, or 4 additional years in place of a BS Degree.Works well independently as well as on a team.Strong communication skills.Required Skills:Experience developing in Python specifically data transformations.Experience writing frontend webapps in Javascript/Typescript React.Experience querying and developing in a big data environment.Experience developing on managing Linux servers.Is comfortable work directly with customers and users to solve unique hard problems.Desire to architect and implement solutions from beginning to end.Desired Skills:Experience using AWS.Experience with any other programming languages or frameworks (Java, FastApi, Angular, Spring Boot etc.).Desire to mentor and teach others.Knowledge of AI/ML and Big Data Tools (DuckDB, Polars, Pandas, Spark).Location: Laurel, MD (onsite full time)Salary Range: The salary range for this full-time position is $200,000 to $280,000. Our salary ranges are determined by position, level, skills, professional experience, relevant education and certifications. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for this position across our projects.
