yA growing medical device company is seeking a hands-on Principal FPGA Engineer to lead the development of FPGA-based firmware and embedded software for an innovative therapeutic platform

.This is an individual contributor role within a small, multidisciplinary product development team. The engineer will contribute throughout the full development lifecycle, including system architecture, requirements, design, implementation, testing, documentation, design verification, and production release

Key Responsibiliti

  • ogTranslate user and system needs into technical requirements and design specificatio

  • tyDevelop prototypes and proof-of-concept systems using FPGAs and system-on-module platfor
  • msOptimize code and algorithms based on hardware, performance, and system constrain
  • tsCreate design documentation, test protocols, verification reports, release notes, and risk-management documentati

  • onSupport design controls and software development processes in accordance with applicable medical device standar
