Principal FPGA Engineer II — Imaging & Systems Lead

Alcon in Goleta, CA seeks a Principal FPGA Engineer II to design and lead FPGA-based image processing for surgical instrumentation. You will develop FPGA logic, write timing constraints, and interface with high‑speed sensors, memory and embedded CPUs.

You’ll mentor junior engineers and collaborate across disciplines in an Agile environment. Applicants should have 5+ years of FPGA experience, strong VHDL/Verilog/SystemVerilog skills, and proficiency with Xilinx/Intel toolchains.
