Our team solves tough, meaningful problems that create a safer, more secure world.We have an excellent opportunity to join the Air & Space Defense Systems (ASDS) business area of the Strategic Sensors & Precision Strike (SSPS) Mission Area as a Principal Financial Analyst supporting the Development, Test & Growth Programs as the FP&A Lead. ASDS designs, produces, and sustains radars including A/NTPY-2 and Sea Based X-Band Radar (SBX). These are high visibility, critical programs for Raytheon and our customers. This is a unique experience to help drive FP&A cadence across the Dev, Test & Growth portfolio – partnering closely with business & program managers to track and analyze forecast data.This is an onsite position in either Woburn, MA or Huntsville, AL.What You Will DoLead programs monthly forecast for bookings, sales, earnings and cash forecast.

Support the monthly closing process and provide variance analysis.Lead the development of the long-range plan and annual operating plans. Analyze and make recommendations to leadership regarding AOP/LRP metrics.Serve as the partner in the planning and forecasting process with the FP&A manager and program business managers.Support to balance sheet, unbilled cash reviews, as well as other ad hoc management reviews.Continuous improvement of the monthly forecasting, accuracy and process.Lead month end forecast reconciliation and R&O consolidationPresent monthly forecast data & analysis to program management partners.Qualifications You Must HaveTypically requires a Bachelor's and a minimum of 5 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and a minimum of 3 years of experienceExperience with the Microsoft Office Suite of toolsQualifications We PreferSAP APEX EV, Rplan, BW, PMX, and EDIT+ experienceForecast and planning experienceProficient with Microsoft suite of tools (EXCEL, Power Point, Word)Ability to manage multiple priorities and prioritize workloadMust be independent and self-motivatedDemonstrated ability to meet critical deadlinesProactive with demonstrated ability to creatively solve problemsWorking knowledge of Raytheon financial and accounting policies and proceduresExcellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced work environmentExcellent verbal and written communication skillsExperience with multiple contract typesWhat We OfferOur values drive our actions, behaviors, and performance with a vision for a safer, more connected world. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
